The Journey continues w/Cristian Santiago

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Fellow Jiu-Jiteiro and friend of the show Cristian Santiago talks about his upcoming fight under the King of the Cage banner. Real talk from a man that's put in the work and come December 4th the party begins!

This is the motivation and welcome to another episode. Just setos a coast to coast. The podcast talks about what's important on and off the mats. I'm stoked because, besides having the sexiest cohost on the PODCASTS, we also had our jawn tonight. Yeah, hell, yeah, like sexy motherfucker over there. We're also joined by King of the cage, recent Syne, our homie and good friend, Christian Santiago. Welcome back to Charo, neighborhood. homeboy. How you doing? How's it been going, bro It's been good, you know, just same old has been trucking, you know, same old lifestyle since the last interview we had. He know, just training every day. You know, nothing changes. We just train and then, once opportunities pop up, you know it's time to jump in and switch gears. Man, this is just a great opportunity. You know, before we jump into to some of the questions, can give me like an idea of how this opportunity came to be for you came it came in through a buddy, my my buddy angel. He knows this guy, Ernie Perea. He's actually like a hall of Famer, you know, and in King of the cage. So he linked me up with Ernie Perea and kind of took me under his wing and, you know, kind of jumped on the opportunity through him. He kind of he kind of played as my manager, I feel like, you know, in this whole transaction and stuff. Cool, cool, cool, good shit, man. And for our listeners out there, just, you know, get us up to speed, man, what you've been doing? Like, who you are? Who? How do you want the public to see you? Like? WHO's Christian Santiago? WAYANT punches? I'm just a simple father, star and friend and fighter. He know, I'm just a humble guy that just, you know, sticks to a regiment. Nothing special. I look at myself, as you know, I'm noboddy. I'm just like all you guys. Bro You know now you you don't give yourself enough credit. You're going to do some big we're going to see it pretty soon. Again, just want to welcome, welcome you again back to the show man. Go ahead, Frank. Got Any anything to say to listeners out there? I'm sorry, my bad, I was I was zoning out. Now. I was just looking up king of the cage, Aaron Pereya, the Piranha. Yeah, the same Gunna. Yeah, the parameter that they call him. I think he had a record of like twelve, twelve and know or something. You know, this guy was a legend, you know, and like the earlier days, I think he was inducing the hall of fame with the Rampage Jackson, Kendall Grove. Who Else? I think is Joe Daddy Stevenson. There's a couple big namers. You know, he got induced with it. It's pretty cool. Oh it though. He's the guy, you know, they're that's Badass man, that's been a bad as man. Definitely, he's a good guy and I feel like he's putting me in the right direction. Really Humble Guy, man, good man. Yeah, dude, he's super cool, really humble or really nice. But you know, once he's in the cage, man's a whole nother story. There's a reason why they call him the Piranha. Pretty cool rights. Kick it off, Frank. That's what's up, man. So you're coming up? Yeah, yeah, let's kick this off, man. Let's start. Let's start talking about this. So, Christian, you just got, like Alfonso said, you just signed to one of the premier organizations, King of the cage. Congratulations, brother they've been putting on show since one thousand nine hundred and ninety eight and lay launched. I mean, I can't I can go on and on about all the fighters that we've watched come out of there and make their way onto the unit. You know, you just mention the same you mentioned rampage. You rampage. I watch him as a kid. Yeah, yeah, man, watching slapping fools from them Walmart DVD style was buying back in the day. Man, I was in high school watching King of...

...the cage. It's pretty cool, Bro. I remember I would go to Walmart and go to that five dollar being because it was them college days when we were living on five hundred bucks a month. And now I'll call off Fonso, I'll be like, fool, check this out, I just got in the cage or king of the cage, DD's for five dollars. What'saw and a thon the marathon? Hey, yeah, but man, we want to see borest Griffin, Daniel Cormier, even was up on there, TJ dillashaw. Dude, you're right. A favor Chris Brennan, Dean Lister, Joy Villa signor Diego Sanchez, old school bet that Anald's out there, man. So you're you're in great company, Dude. So, oh, many great fighters have come out of there. Again, congratulations, man, I appreciate it. All right, Christian, we got some questions for you here. You ready to jump into them? Yeah, absolutely, Let's do this, all right. So my first question for you is, and again just talking about king of the cage here, what's it like being signed to an organization like this, and what does it mean to you? My sense, I feel like this is my foot finally in the door, you know, like my career is finally taken off after, you know, ten years of hard work. When I did my first fight I was I think I was eighteen years old, you know. I did I like some little ghetto casino and man, like ten years since then I just been turning my ass off and I feel like my shots finally here. You know, I'm excited, a good opportunity, so it's time to tackle it. I've been putting the work, you know, so see what happens. Yeah, can't yeah, most definitely. Man. We've been following you, you know. You've been on this show three this your third time now, Bro, but I mean you went through covid you went through the Jiujit it's too phades. You went through your wrestling, you did the high rollers, you just had your fight not too long ago, and Bam, here you are again, all the big stage. Brother, we cannot wait to watch you do this, do your thing, like you did last sight in. Yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited. Back to that day, man, will you found out like you're going to be signed on, like what do what do you remember about that day, like what do you what do you specifically? Maybe emotions, things I went in your mind, like tell us. I just feel like the whole universe like kind of found my lap, like I actually felt some emotion, because I'm just like Holy Shit, like I feel like my flay, my shots here, you know, all this hard work finally pays off, you know, and in the past, you know, I've had opportunities, but I feel like I wasn't matured enough, you know, to jump on it and I kind of blew it in the past. And that was years ago, though, like six years ago. And Man, I feel like this is my last my last little string I'm hanging on. So you know I'm not going to I'm not going to turn down any opportunity. You know, I just I'm about to turn thirty one next month, so, you know, I I feel like it's my time, you know, like I'm in my prime right now. So yeah, do you can get it? You can. Good Shit, man, good shit coming. Like I said, hard work pays off, it really does. Yeah, it does. Man, I work hard for this. Man. He'll yeah, kind of the day, oh, diet, everything, and he knows the hard work has been paying off. Chris, should talk about your last fight and glad eat or challenge. Who was your opponent? And for all our listeners that didn't get to chance to check that out, how did he go? Bro Tell it, give us a breakdown of it. When I first found out by my last opponent, I found I he was it from a good gym, but in my mind I pictured a whole different guy, you know, like I couldn't find them on social media, you know, I don't want to do too much research on them, but I knew about his gym. I know they have a lot of strikers and they're grappling. Wasn't, you know, up to par. And Man, I was really nervous going in this fight because I had no idea about my opponent. I think it was his second fight, I believe, and you know, going out I done, I think blan you know, you know, kind of leaning up...

...to this fight and Oh man, there's a good fight. You know, he came out, he he came out. You know, we tie you know, kind of tie down s I felt like, on the feet, and from there, you know, I just listened to my corner. I kept it safe, you know, through some Combos, caught his kick, took him to the ground and I just did my thing, you know, and ended up on top. I got my first Koh, first round, minute thirty nine seconds, I believe. Yeah, yeah, Bro, first Koh. It felt really good, you know. So it felt right. You know, the hard work pad off here. That high life video they made it you was sick. I all the hairs were standing up on the back of my neck. Bro. I was like, I just saw you smashing that dude. It was awesome that. I mean talk about all that hard work paying off. That was it full in effect, on the stage for everyone to see. Bro, congratulations on that. I appreciate that. I appreciate it. It was I probably that enough like cast well, my money, where's my so this in this you mentioned also that you know, you focus on Jiu Jitsu and wrestling. You know some of this, because felt like his camp wasn't really focus on that. What have you added for this fight, like, do you know anything about your opponent? You know that's change. Maybe some of the stuff that you've been doing and draining my rug. I know that. I know my opponent this time around is really well rounded, you know, probably one of the best guys I've ever fought. So this is gonna be a good test for me. You know, I'm not overly confident and I'm not I'm not taking it lightly. You know, this isn't a fight I'm I'm I'm going to sleep on. So I put in the work, put in the time. So I feel like we're a hard work and preparation me. You know, only destiny will tell, right. Yeah, exactly. Hey, I think they're like the all right, Christian, what's up? All, he's a grappler. Well, he says it is a grappler. It says a grappler like on his amateur life profile. But you know, at his gym, I look at the Jim you know, unlike their team and the classes that they offer and it seems like I have a they have a class for like every art there, you know. So this gout be a food not to jump into every single one of those classes. There is might thing, you know. Yeah, yeah, that's absolutely right. You know, out here in the Coachella Valley I drive everywhere just to get like, like, you know, my ends meet. You know, I do my boxing, you know, here Coachella. I gotta drive to Riverside to do my kickboxing, my noogie. You know, I also train that over here at a CBBJJ. You know, I do my wrestling over there. So all my training is now all spread out. I can't just get it all done and one you know, under one roof. Yeah, kind of a bummer out here. You know, in the Coachella Valley we're very limited and resources. You know, it's beautiful for boxing out here, but you know, I feel like the sport of MMA, like we don't have much out here. It's hard to work with what, you know, kind of what we got. But I also imagine, though, I mean if you think about it in a certain way, like yeah, it sucks as you gotta travel, you got to go their places, but then also you I think you might. I don't know if you look at the same way, but you get to pick some of the top places to go in the area for all those different disciplines. Versus all that's all one spot. You kind of feel pressure to stay in that one area and just whoever's they're right. I don't know. Absolutely. Yep, you have a good point there, you know. But but the thing about cross training is I feel like sometimes like if you don't do it properly, you can't step on a lot of toes, you know, because I know in the Jiu Jitsu world, like you know, it's like a lot of these families, like, you know, they got my child, old Gracie's. You know. It's like, Oh, you're you're one of them, or you one of them. It's like, yeah, I don't know, it's kind of hard to explain. Yeah, you got a pick, you know,...

...like like what academy you want to be with? It is kind of what I'm feeling, you know. But for like MMA, it's like, Oh man, we gotta, we gotta train every discipline and every art, you know, in my theory. So right, I try not to stick to one you know, absolute room. Cool, that's stop all right, Christian, off camera. We just we talked about this. You know, Alfonso got married, I got married a little bit after that, but you beat us to the bullet, you beat us to the Party and you got married a little bit before. Congratulations, man, I appreciate that. Yeast the life cheating. So now you I've chasing thing. My youngest daughter is about she's about four years old. So yeah, okay, okay, I guess you can say yeah, but my my rife really wants one. So I don't know. I'm not a nervous right now about that, about that subject. Right. Hey, man, you're you're in this. You were all in the same boat here, man, we're all on the same boat. Brow we're all on the same island trying to get off. That's funny or on, whatever way you want to look at it, but we're all there, man, the Gression. I want to ask, though, how has family life change you like? Does it give you more extra motivation now? Do you feel like, man, I really don't want to smash this fool, but I must smash. How is it changed you myself? Man Like that? I feel like, in my sense, you know, it's give me more more motivation. You know, I have more purpose to be in the gym. You know, every time I glove up, it's like, you know, for a good purpose. It's no longer for myself. You know, I have my wife and my kids behind me. So, yeah, I feel a lot more. It's not necessarily pressure, but I feel like it's more of a motive. It's like a it's like a motivation I didn't even know I had, you know, because it's like good days or bad days, I'm in the gym. You know, I could be having the worst day on the planet, you know, but the second I step in the gym I leave all my problems at the door. And you know, a lot of these guys don't even know and I'm having a bad day because I just, you know, I just channel it out, like I'm slowly finding that balance. You know, little by little I'm learning. Oh, they'll find out when they cats are wrung end of your fist, fool, that's what happened. Oh what Christ's having a bad day to day. Down for it. But but also, I mean you mentioned know why I gave me two black guys. You mentioned the you know that they you know you have that motivation behind you, but you know, also on your social media, I see, you know, your wife coming around and training with you, sometimes going on you know, bike rides, hikes, and absolutely seems like she's super supportive what you do. Man, do you think that? Oh, no, as well. Absolutely, it helps, you know, because as as the fighter, like, we're always training so much, we're, I was, going through so much emotion. So I feel like, you know, if you have a strong support system, you know, like a wife, beyonce, girlfriend, like, if they're right there through our sessions, kind of watching us, like, it helps us. You know, like, yeah, I feel like I carry myself better when my wife is right there, you know, like following me on my run, she's on the bike or right you know, like it's just it's kind of like energy that I didn't even know that I had, you know, like it's awesome. You know, I couldn't it. I wouldn't want to change this for you know anything. You know, I'm really grateful of my support system, you know, even my kids. They gave me in check. Yeah, that's for sure. Yeah, and after watching some of your highlights from the last you know, we're talking about some amazing you have performances. We've seen, like, have there any any fights that you've seen this year that like just stood out to you? Just like what was your favorite fight this last year? Like you have seen? You any Holloway and whatever? Max Hollow and dustint poirier? You know? Oh, yeah, I think I think that one. You know, like lately on my every morning I jump on my treadmill, you know, I put on the on the tablet I'm over there just studying that fight. I'm like, man, that was too like stylistically, I think, like those two are really matched up...

...well that fight. And Man, it was a good trade and joyed it. Yeah, that that was a great fight. All of US comes out to comes out. You might have do that. Yeah, dude, he's. He's. Yeah. Well, what do you think is going to is? It's ahead of FRAHM. I think. I think he's going to be the next champion. You know, that's just in my opinion. You know, I think he really debunked a lot of these guys with this wrestling. You know, he's on a whole nother level. I think, even with this training. You know, his whole team, they're all see him wrestled check Hermanson couple weeks ago. I didn't. I see pictures of it, but I didn't see the actual match. Yeah, I just saw a couple clips and he was right. He look first of all, he look huge, did and he was Raggedallin Hermanson like it was no, like nothing. Yeah, man, he's scared dude. He's gonna fuck some shit up and I cannot wad seem like back in the key. I think he's like another breed of human, like all those Russians, you know, coming out. They're different breed man, like the way they trained. Good. I was seeing got super soldier serium. Yeah, I think that's what it is, because his his country was at war, I think, when he was a kid, yea and stuff. Man. Yeah, he's a different breed. You know, we're spoiled out here as Americans. We're really spoiled. Yeah, for all that harsh fucking winter out there. It's crazy. Yeah, could be was wrestling bear a hard time cart hand. Yeah, that's what he says. You know, like when you have a hard life, like this whole fight thing in the cage is nothing. You know, hard life, easy fight, I guess right. Yeah, that's it is. That's what he is saying. Yeah, Heck Yeah, Dude. So you just mentioned you know, you work hard outside the cage to prepare yourself. I'm sorry, to get in the cage and do what you got to do. You know, what do you think about fighters nowadays that are talking their way up to the front of the line for a title shot or for a high profile fights of the they can get paid? Oh Man, I'm all like Hese that are you believing? You know what, you should just do your hard work, right. Yeah, how does that make you feel as as you're in it? You don't as a fighter, you know what I mean. But there's differ like cutting the line in front of you, you know what I mean. How does that what do you think about that, and what do you think should be done? I think I think somebody should put a stake in the wreck, you know, basically in the record, and I think they should. I don't know, because I guess that they could walk their talk, you know, throw them a bone, you know. But for guys like me, like I've been a journeyman for, you know, about nine to ten years. You know, I've been in this game for a while and I feel like for me, like I put in the work I'll put in the work every single day in my life. You know, good they're bad day and some of these guys just kind of walk into MMA JIM and, you know, they talked their way up. I'm not about that, you know, I'm really not. Yeah, I'm all about humble, hard work, you know, my sense, that's a type of cloth I come from, you know, like in my family. That's what they taught us. It was just stay humble and work hard, you know, and when the opportunities come, you better be ready, you know. Yeah, yeah, like damn all these guys the mine exactly what's going on, all that stuff, and I don't yea, I personally don't like it. I think it's Super Gimmicky, like wwe, and that's what I feel like the sports more. It just taking on that role more and more every day. You know. Is it entertaining? Yeah, but it yeah, exactly, but at the bottom that the end of the day. It doesn't make the fight any better, does it? Frank what do you think for the people? Maybe, yeah, I don't know. What do you think about Jake Paul Fighting? WHO's he fighting? Tommy fury in a couple of like two or three weeks? And then I heard that Tyson fury was saying...

...that his brother look bad on purpose in his last fight so that Jake Paul would give him this fight. And now he says he's gonna beat his ass. What do you think about that? You think he really sucked on purpose, or we think he just sorry that night? I think it was sorry. You know, I think it's all a show. He's just talking out of his ass. You know, man, this is all this is a circus. It's a circus, like like what all this is turning into. And it's like nowadays, if you're not like a like an entertainer, some some type of character, it's like, I feel like you're not going to get noticed, you know. But I agree. And that's dude. You know how many other boxers have boxing, say, or a kid, and then Oh, here comes Jake Paul and just kind of walks in front of them and Nope, these guys don't even get a chance, but Jake Paul does. You know, yeah, for sure. It's not for for the people who work their whole lives, you know, for this dream. Yeah, you guys think that good? Do you think that Jake Paul got to crowd in line because he has that robot with him on stage all the time. Maybe, Huh a, will money talks, dude, money talks right, Christian reals, fortun would you take a fight with Jake Paul for five meal, four, five mill? Yeah, I could put my kids through school with fine mill. You know I mean, I could get him ask getting paid off. I could take care of my take care of my family with five mile. Of course I would. You know, it's an opportunity. You know, I'm at the point to where I don't care about opinion, you know. So I'll jump on any opportunity regardless. You know, if I get out this class, you're not. Let's make the fight right now. Jake Paul, you being called out on me. Oh Man, I think he's got like Jake Paul five value fus. He's got like Gott the pounds on me, fool, the big jobs. Plus, you try to be fighting. I did take them down, tire taking the ground. Old Wrestler, that's so say. You just work on the legs, man, just you're too young, Christian. Yeah, and I would be fun and I maybe six year olds and up. I think he's starting to figure out boxing, though, a little bit like he's getting the right training. You know, he's paying for all the top trainers. You know he's doing it right. You know, if you have money, you can get all the right training, is what they say. Yeah, that's true. The right training will come to you, you know, if you got the cash. Just what I'm learning. What didn't help? A DLP, Lunkren and rocky. Yeah, yeah, the Fusil got his ass kicked. Yeah, but let's talk about fight. They what was? What does that day look like to you? You know, like just in your head, you're like you got do you have like violence on your mind? Like how do you prepare, you know, like this you just gonna throw some blows? Like how do you prepare yourself for that, for that day? In the past, I used to like channel my energy and get all aggressive and, you know, like who like get on nuts and it's like not, it's it's like I try to remain calmness, you know, just keep calm, you know, a lot of breathing, you know, just really just trying to like, I guess, like center myself, you know, on the sense and, yeah, trying not to try not to waste energy where it doesn't belong. You know, like right before I get into the cage, because if I sit there and get all pumped up and, you know, kind of like, you know, headbanger mode and all, I'm a bit yeahs and Shit. It's like I do. By time you get it to the cage, it's like, I feel like twenty percent your energy is already gone. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, like getting acously. You got to conserve. Yeah, like I'm I'm at that age of just like conserving what I got, you know, I don't want to walk up to the cage and like Oh, fuck, like I'm tired, you know. So I just try to keep calm, like I'm like right now. I feel like I'm on like some like like Shallon Buddhist monkshit right now. Just trying to be like, you know, a zen and stuff be level, and you know, I've come down a lot, like you know, like lately, since since our last couple interviews. Like you know, you're breaking out FONSO's...

...heart right now, Christian. He had a whole dance routine choreographed for your ante, but now he's got to put it away. Now I'm just have to do it, but myself, dude, I was watching, I seen it for the first time. It was. It's it just came out on Netflix. I seen it. It's here comes a boom. Yeah, you know, Great, I love that movie. You thin guy comes out the shoulder pads in the spike. Yeah, that movie have me cracking USNA. Dude, is awesome. Yeah, that's that moves. That's definitely good. I fucking love the fact that a boss routine is in it. And Oh yeah, I love his character in that movie. Dude. Yeah, I think dude, he's awesome. Is it Joe Rogan on it too? I think so. I haven't I think so. I haven't gotten that far. Like I've only watched you like three quarters of the movie. Okay, all right, we won't spoil up. Yeah, I won't say that. Don't say anything about the Monkey, monkey more than pineapple or the donkey. That was that was the x rated version. That was also been watching some weirdass movie. If I'll, Fonso gives you a box of VHS tapes. Don't watch him with your mom and Dad. Trust me. That's the Grand Prize, man. That's that's what we give at the end of the year for for for every guess coming on the show. You'll be getting my fourteen year old son doesn't even know to VHS. Has Your boxes in the mail. Christian, is a Damn Shane. This is a VHS boy s kidding out days. They don't even know. I hope to fix the track and Sonny and then we strikes the tracking on the man Chesshad. Yeah, that's fucked that man, man. And sometimes when they can fix it, you got to throw the whole thing. Oh, you know, that's funny, man. I love VHS. Dude. We set a room full of VHS. As I remember growing up, my mom meets to buy every single movie on Bhs that came out. There's like a whole wall of behs is dude. Yeah, now, we never did. We just went to the rented it out and get to pay all those fucking fees at the end of the because, especially because you didn't want lock but charger. Huh, all her it, because you didn't blackbuster video depot. Huh. Yeah, I remember those days. Frank would always just try to go to the nudy sections once behind the curtain. He's WHUSI. It's where the good ones are. I didn't know what was back there. How am I supposed to know? You would always just go random. Do you know? I see the most random people walking at walking out of that checking you know over there. Guy. Yeah, you never want to see the people coming out of that place. Yeah, that Foo's got a stack of movies and he is in a like a little gift Baghor something runny. Now I got to get somewhere. All right, Christian, I got one last question for you here. Yeah, this is talking about old school and in May fighters like vandidly FEDOR mellion Ainko. I don't know if you remember baddery silver back in the day when he would fight, before he would fight, he will kind of like fold his hands over themselves and then kind of like rotate his wrists like a little like he's...

...opponent across the cage right, yeah, Fade. Or when he would get that face to face, right before the fight would start, he wouldn't even stare ahead his opponent. He would just like kind of look down at his feet. Deep. How would you stay like like a ritual or any our superstitions that you follow before getting into the cage or on your way to the cage? I feel like they change every time, you know, like every time I enter the cage. It's like it's such a surreal moment, you know, and I don't know, like I try not to do too much, you know, too much I showboating. You know, because, because, because, because right before you took loves, like you don't know what's going to happen. So, like like my last opponent before before he came out like he like he'd be like a little scream, like a little screech, like dream and I was like, Oh man, sorry kid for you, because it's like, Oh man, I'm gonna have some you know, like I just I don't like being like like made a fool. So for me it's just, you know, just focus, you know, like that's my thing, remain focus. You know, some people are about like that intimidation factor. They have a ritual, but I feel like I feel like my ritual is as I crawl up the steps, you know, I kind of crawl up the steps and right when I get in there, I just just boom, I turn on the switch right there. You know, that's kind of my thing. You know, like like in my earlier days, I used to like, you know, come out to the middle of the cage and like do like a stomp boom boom, you know, I mean like and kind of go back to my corner, like, but I remember what I did that. I got my ass kicked after that by more stomps. You know, put my hands up, boom boom. Then that Shit, you know, but I was like, I come from a wrestling culture to, you know, like my old wrestling coach, like he's a used to really liking force has being humble, like if you want to kind of like, you know, before and after your matches, you know, just focus. You know, if you want to celebrate victory, do it. Do it somewhere else, you know, type thing. My it's hard to say, though, like what's going to happen, you know, as soon as those lights in those cameras are put on you, because I don't know, man, I can't explain. It's like something else just comes inside you and you just know what to do. I love it. You know, I'm excited for this, spy. I've been putting a lot of work, you know, cutting a lot of weight. I was on a Oz on a interview for the it was for a empty radio, I think, you know, like like right here they have the Mexican radio, Dude. And and they didn't told me that I was do they didn't even tell me that that that camera my face is going to be a live broadcasting and that's what everybody's going to be watching. Dude. They're like, dude, I came in there after a wake cut, like, dude, dry it, like like me myself and Irene. Dude, like I'll dried up, you know, apart where he's like, I'm an each the water. I'm like, yeah, I looked after my weight. This cameras all over the studio and they're like yeah, everybody was watching, Dude. And there's like a camera in my face, like like right up in my face, dude, like yeah, dried up from cutting weight, Dude. Is the war I experience. Ever, this is gonna be all audio, Dude. This is gonna be a lot of hers. So good, all right, all right, don't don't even trip. I was like that for the camera. Like how do I pose like that? My what do I do with my hands? What does that Ricky Bobby? Yeah, that's gonna be a King of the cage, right, so give me the mic, like not when you win, like, like they're basically telling me. They're like when you better, like think the right people on the MIC, and I'm like, what if I don't in Yetta, ride it somewhere. You gotta put her, like on your ankle, on your glove or some yeah, I know, I was by a little the paper, like yeah, it's full that. Yeah, pull this out. Hold on, hold on, what a piece of paper? And Tony's yeah, that's funny, man. Put it in my cup. Hold on real quick. I like to thank my mom, my wife, my children's exciting, then, so much nerves going into this fight. Yeah, it's gonna be a good night. That's good, man, that we're except, tells you on the N we're excited to watch. Can't wait. ...know, you guys just want to see me there and survival mode type thing. Yeah, fucking some elbows, some helbows. I can't wait. Yeah, once I go pro, we could start throwing elbows. But right now, amateur, I think this is gonna be my last amateur right here before I go pro. That's what they're telling me, because I had I had a hard time finding an opponent this time around. It was crazy. I had an opponent like three months ago. He pulled out. I think I had two appointments pull out. You know, this whole transaction is crazy. Dank, he's a mess. This whole camp was like a mess. But but I got it done and it's here and the holidays is going to be even better. Wait till you get to w first, though, to take a boom like Mike Tyson. Huh, show on, motherfucker. That's right, because I'm so like then right now, like if, like when I cut the beard off, I look all like, like all sunking in, like got skinny. Yeah, I gotta hide behind it. That's fun. You know, I appreciate you. The reason I'm doing it back on the beard. Huh. Well, the beer like for us, and we cut weight. It's like, but you can't. We don't look at as bad. It doesn't look as drastic, you know. Yeah, then, like then, you know, like like without the beard, you can see all the bones in our face. You know, I feel like I kind of hide things up for us. I hate cutting weight. This at the worst thing ever. It's terrible. I want a beer on a bear in a pizza brother Moon. Yeah, all right, man. Well, yeah, all right, guess I gotta Get out of here. Man.
