UFC 269 fight break downs & picks

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

It's the last UFC PPV of 2021 and the guys are trying to continue their hot streak of picking fights. Is Alfonso crazy or does he know something we don't? Find out & listen what kool-aid he's been drinking.

This is the motivation. Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Jiujit deal's coast to coast, the podcast that talks about what's important on and up the mats. Let's fucking kick this episode off already, homies, I got Fonso, I got cousin in. You guys ready to start talking UFC two hundred sixty nine picks or what? Hell Yeah, man, Hell Yeah, definitely. I'm looking forward to this coming fight is coming up next week. Man, there's so many good fights, aren't they're coming up. I'm looking so, so, so much stwords. What's going to be happening? What about your bonds? Hey? Yeah, man, yeah, the headliners going to be great, but other like the rest of the card is pretty stacked too. So there's a lot of good shit here. I know it's going to be a good time. So can't wait for these fights. Rank you there? Hello, Frank. So we're here. So we're talking. Five picks are for UFC two hundred and sixty nine, the last pay per view of two thousand and twenty one. What a card, what a card. Thank you, Uncle Dana. This card is more loaded than I'll FONSO's deal wilential at at the Iguana National Rooster Fight Championship, drinking the Blanca all day. That's what I'm talking about. Let's got by two. I don't know about that one man. That's going to be a close. That's a cloth. That's that's a little too close to call. there. My UNCO gets pretty load right. You're right. Your your feel would have started partying on a Wednesday and the fights wouldn't have been until Sundays. So it doesn't compare, but it's pretty close. Like his first level style, for sure. Thank sure, thank you, Dana. They're both equally high level party events. Just won't brings it way harder than the other. All right, let's see we talking about today Gig Frank. All right, let's kick this off. We got early prelands, we got prelands and we got the main card. So we're gonna this is kind of like showing up to your friends Thanksgiving dinner and you're not sure what to try. So usual to try a little bit of everything. So a couple of plates off of this menu, cold place off this one, and then for the main car you want the whole Inchilata. So we're going to start by talking early prelands here, and we got up good one. We got some good ones here. I want to start by talking about Ryan Hall versus Doric, don't call me Derek Minor, and the featherweight division, hundred and forty five pounds. I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with either one of these fires. Being a Jiujito, you should be familiar with Ryan Hall, Black Belt, coming out of fifty in down in. I want to say he's on. He used to be on your side of the coast, cousin aunt over in Verdu in your Maryland area. Yes, he was. Yeah, he was out. He's out in a couple of my coach actually used to train with him. Yeah, so he's yeah, yeah, he's. Oh, yeah, he is, he for sure. Man. So, Cuz, what do you you have? I'm a favorite in this fight. I mean I we didn't say that we were going to go early prelimb, but I just snuck in a couple of fights just to start us off, this one being the first one on the early prelimbs. Ryan Hall, Doric Minor. I don't know if it's minor or minner. I'm sorry, Doric Derk, Derek Minner? Could Derek? Should we call him on? Eric or Doric? I don't know. But Hey, this guy right here, Derek, he has a looks like an extensive fighters Rey. I don't really know this guy. I haven't. He hasn't really crossed, you know, my mind on anything. But Ryan Hall definitely the wizard. Definitely giving it to him. Looking at this guy, Ryan Hall, I know the you know his stand up game. He's been working on in everything. But you know, if it's goes down to...

...the ground, definitely Ryan Hall has it. Looking at Derek, minor, are minner or minor? What would you want to call it? Looking at him, he had, yes, some grappling, you know, to its history and everything, especially having a twenty, six and twelve track record and Ryan Hall is eight and two. But I definitely am giving it to Ryan Hall, you know, the wizard on the ground. Definitely going to take it out and being the fact that he's he's been working on a stand up game, I can see him taking this either whether it's standing up or on the ground. All right, due to be clearly honest, man, I didn't really get to look at the prelimbs early or the the later prelimbs too much before going into his card. So I'm not really sure about that Derek minor or mint or whoever I really want to call him right now, but Ryan Hall's a round. Manzo put some respect on it. All Right, minor, but Ryan Hall wasn't. Didn't he lose his last fight just because he's trying to fucking just grapple the dude? Like yeah, it's like, yes, like spending on off my kid in the first round. The fucked him up. Yeah, I mean, if he's gonna keep doing this shit, I don't know. Like, I mean like it was, it was interesting to watch, it was entertaining when I was first side. But yeah, obviously that technique didn't work. So unless he's got some new tricks, I don't see him moving up the ladder very much. Yeah, you know what, and I thought I thought the same thing when I was looking over kind of like researching is defense was striking and you have s has Ryan Hall at seventy percent to forty percent with the standard was stand up defense. So I mean, you're right, he did, you know, lose last time by, you know, by getting knocked the fuck out. But I don't know, they're seeing here on thing in the eastenders right. So I'm wanted. Maybe you've seen something that we don't know, but I mean, as far as like grappling everything, I definitely got Ryan Hall going for it. Hopefully learned his lesson. I think Dana just makes those stats on like just off the fly. He just fucking just starts spin shit out. Be like that's probably give that dude sixty percent. Take down to fence. All right, what do you think, frank all right, so let me give you some background info on dark minner. Derek dark's coming in with the record of Twenty Six and twelve. He's won two out of his last three. He lost his last fight by submission. Ryan Hall, you already know what you're going to get. You know what I mean. He's coming in with a record of eight too, and he's just going to come in for a sub you're not going to fucking see any crazy stand up from him. You're probably going to see him take some blows, but you know exactly what you're going to get. Dark's coming in with, like I said, he's got a he's got a lot of experience on his hand on his record, but the one thing that stands out to me is that two of his three losses have all come by subs. And let me just tell you who subs M he lost by sub to some guy named grant Dawson and Herbert Burns, who is the older brother, I believe, of a Durno. So he ain't no slouch, but he ain't no Gilbert Burns, and neither is grant Dawson. So if he's getting sub by both of those guys, I see the same thing happening. I'm going Ryan Hall submission in Round One. Wow, and you know it, but I maybe be checked out the UOC thing they say for submission for these two guys. Their history. Ryan Hall is at Thirty Eight percent and dark minner is at eighty five percent. So I want I don't know where the getting these percentages. And well, that's pretty interesting, man. That's interesting. You never know what you're going to get, you know what I mean. But yeah, for the most part I kind of just feel we do know what we're going to get, no matter what the stats say. You know he's coming for US sub and regardless of whether that percentage that UFC says is high or low, that's what he's going to come...

...and do you guys ready to jump into the next fight? Well, I won't really PRELIMB card. What hold on? By the way, I just I just in case it matters to anybody out there. Hall has opened as a negative to ul five betting favorite over one hundred and eighty underdog for Derek minor or man. Now what does that mean? Like if I bet a hundred dollars, how much am I getting when I so it's all dead. If all right, well, Ryan hot you have to bet two hundred and five, two hundred five dollars to win a hundred. Oh, that sucks. Yeah, but if you bet a hundred dollars on Derek to win Doric, then you get a hundred eighty back. So yeah, I'm seeing similar, similar odds on my bookie my book he's Got Ryan Hall and two hundred and ten and Doric minner at a plus one hundred and seventy. Still very similar. So Ryan Hall pretty big favorite. You know you're not going to make a crazy amount of money, but for sure I would say that's where your money should be going. All right, because did you think? Did you give your peek already? Yeah, I chose Ryan Hall for that one. Right. Would you say? subdecision? It's definitely going to be a sub, but I'm thinking maybe like the second round. Second Round, okay, and Fonso. Yeah, Fonso, would you go? Would you say? You know what, just looking at it right now, I'm just gonna go with with manner. My Boy Min there. He's gonna abst special I've said, right, I'm thinking. I'm thinking replay of last hall's fight. He's going to just get ground and powder and get knocked out again. If he I'm saying, he's gonna Bring the same bullshit that he did last time. All right, all right, now, what if you want in the next fight? What if he walks in there and he's completely his chest is shaven and he's ready to throw down? Well, if he walks in with a shaving chest, I lost. I'm just calling it. You know what I mean. It just done. Shaved chest means he changed everything. That was like he shed all the negativity exactly. No more bullshit. That's what's going on. He's a new man. He's a new man. All right, let's move on to the next fight. On the prelands, we got Alex per res Fighting Out, a Lutle more local boy here, taking on Matthew Christopher Schnell. My Book He's Got Alex Perez as a heavy minus three hundred and fifteen favorite, matched Nell, plus two hundred and fifty five underdog, because what you think so far about this fire. Actually, let me give you, guys, some background on both of these guys. Freaking Alex Perez, twenty nine years old, fight fo six, fighting out a team o Yama. Let me look up what this kid's record is. I haven't and he has twenty four in a while, six, twenty, twenty four and six. I want to say his last fight was a lost to dieges Davidson Figurato, who was back then the flyweight champ, and I think he took that fight at a last act, like as a last second replacement, if I'm not too mistaken. He is taking on match now, who's got a record of fifteen and six. He is a purple belt and a black belt in karate. He last lost to Rohelio bonturine by unanimous decision back in May. Let me see, I don't have his last five fights, but I have him here losing to Roheio thirteen back in May, winning somebody being mean, Tyson Nan, by split decision back in January. Of Two thousand and twenty one, and then he did lose to Alexander Pantosia by Ko in round one back in December of two thousand and nineteen. Alex Perez was on quite a winning streak private to losing two Davidson Figadado back in November of of...

...two thousand and twenty. Before that he beat juice a for mega by TKO round one, and I want to see Jordan Espinoza Round one by I'm triangle in January of that same year. That being said, he's a local boy. I do like his team, team will yama, a little bit better. I feel like Alex is been against tougher competition than Matt and he is a little bit younger. They are about the same size. He's just got less miles on them. But I feel like Alex is ceilings a little bit higher and I think he's going to have enough in his gas tank and his tool belt to take out matt. So I'm going Alex Perez. Unanimous decision, because what you think, Oh, I'm right there with you, man, but I think it's definitely going to be an I think it's going to be a knocked out. I'M gonna go for like maybe and in the second round, early third round. Knocked out for Alex Frez. I see everything in the books as him winning this. I don't see him it. Goes to the ground, standing up. I don't see him hurting at all. He is a little bit lighter in the on the weight side, but I think that's gonna be good for him, especially moving around. He you know, he does have a history, you know, going you know, seven, you know, you know. I'm sorry, not seven, but going to distance parts like time. So I think his condition, he's going to be on it, you know, but I mean Matt's condition. He's going to be there too, but I just think he has too many tools in his pocket. All right, what you think, Fonzo? Man, at this one I will have to defer, man, I I don't have any pain about this. So my guess as good as your guys is on this. I don't know much about these. These no worries? Yeah, that's good enough. Let's move on to the prelimbs. These are the fights you're going to get to watch on, most likely ESPN, before the the main pay per view cards starts. And again it's Super Stackman, we're just going to talk about to, even though there are quite a bit of fights that you're going to want to watch, so make sure you got the DV are going on this one for sure. For first off, let's start by talking about Pedro Muno's taking on dominant cruise. Beto Muno's coming in with a record of nineteen and six. Dominant crews coming in with a record of twenty three and three dominant coming in at thirty six years old. Bet Munios right behind him at thirty five. We got kings MMA team taking on alliance MMA. And you know what, man, something that stood out to me that I did not know is wikipedia has got dominant crewis listed as a bluebelt still. Can you guys believe that? For long as he's been in the game, it has him listed down as the Blue Belt? I mean, it could be wrong, it might need to be updated, but I'm just like he's done enough noogie to the point where you would think he would be a lot higher than a blue belt. What I think, man, is we need to set up a match between you and Dominic Creuze. That way you could put them hands down on it. Yes, let's do it. Dominant Cruise, where you at been called out Dominic cruise versus Frank Garcia. Yep, starting two thousand and twenty two. Did he disappear again? Frank is already ready. Man, he's getting ready, right. He warming off being on. Yeah, he stretch. I just finished watching the dominant cruise footwork video. I'm ready to go in case better drops out. Let's go. Sign me up Nice. All right, you guys ready to go on to the next fight. Well, who would you pick for this one? I'll Fondo, would you? I didn't even say all right, you know, for this this one had me torn because I really like dominant cruise, Bethroom, when yours is the workhorse. I kind of see this as a as a pick Um. Let me look at my bookie. My bookie has dominic crews as all. This is the pigum. This is the toss up. They're...

...both coming in out a minus hundred fifteen. So it's either one so even Vegas don't know. So what does that mean? You know, man, it's get it. I would have to say it's one. You know, Su one hundred and fifteen. That just means anything close to mine's one hundred is basically like a coin flip. The closer you get to one hundred, the closer, the more evenly match these guys are going to be. So does that means like I'm being both? No, no, it's not even in. It's not. Whatever you put in, that's what you're going to get out. Basically, okay. But having said that, you're not going to make any money off of this. But if you're stackingated on a parley card, I mean just based off of activity, I would say you have to go bedroom unios. BETOMIOS has been way more active. Dominic cruise hasn't fought since. When was his last fight? You guys know. One last night against Hender say, who do? He got his ass? whooped? No, but didn't he fly on? He fought on can Casey, oh, Kennyk he fought crazy Kenny backy in money. Yeah, that's right, prior today, right, was the Henry Sehudo fight. Yeah, that's right. But bethroom Winios, on the other hand, has been very active. Man. He last fought? Who did? He tended the Lawso yeah, yeah, they all to hold the Aldo, which a lot of people said. Well, you know, and actually he like he did lose that fight, for sure, but I mean Jose Aldo just put an ASS whooping on Rob Fon and everybody thought rap rob font was going to be the next Bantam Weight Champ or the Nick Bantam weight contender. You're I mean so prior to that he did have a win against Jimmy Rivera. It was a decision. He did go all three rounds. Yeah, I'm I'd have to go betomnial split decision on this one just because of he's been more active. What do you guys say? I'm going with Dominic cruise on this one because, you know, Pedro Munos. Yeah, he you know, like he is the work cares and everything. But I just because I've known dominic Cruz for so long, not personally obviously, but you know, follow followed him and everything, and I just want to I wear I really want to see his come back, you know, I really want to see him start moving, moving up a lot more. I know he's right number ten right now, but I'm going with him for decision, third round decision. Yeah, I don't I don't know about it too. Fundo. Yeah, you know, I just don't think Dominic Cruz has it anymore. I don't think he'll. He'll. I think he's just going to be enndying like a stepping stone for most fighters will be a journeyman, you know, going going through trying to just you know. So this is this is better. Munios is time to shine. So he's gonna he's going to start working his way back up. He's started already. So I think that's what's going to end up happening for him. Moving forward is just, you know, he's going to start moving up. I don't know if he'll ever get to to be the champion, the WHO get close. So I'm going better a Munio's decision. All right, right on, right on. And basically I'm also basically my decision off of the way dominant crews looked earlier in the year against Kevin Casey rose. The guy's name again, Casey Kenny, and Casey Kenny, he yeah, he didn't look too good. He didn't look like the old dominic and that just kind of like shows me that, you know, maybe his time has come. You know, he's battled through a lot of injuries, he's been in some wars and I mean to his credit, man, that every father time's indefeated, you know, and when he comes, he comes. So could that have been the beginning of the amfre dominic I don't know, man. I'm with you Cuz I would love to see him when, you know, just because he's an old school guy, he's a w EC guy, he's a San Diego cat. So much love to Dominican, who's I hope he can pull it off and I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't know,...

...man. I just don't see it. You guys ready to jump into one more prelimb car before we get into the main event? Yep, you're all right, man. This next fight, guys, I'm falking. Don't because someone is probably going to get carried out in the stretcher, someone's going to get taken to the dirt for Shure. And I'm talking Josh Emmett Dan Egay, who wants to talk about this one first. Are you guys want me to go over there fight stats? You go ahead. Yeah, let's go over the fight sets first. All Right, let me break this down for you because from here are now, I got a little I got technical he here. So I Josh Emmett, five foot six, thirty six years old, coming in with the record of sixteen and two, four and one in his last five fights, coming off of a win over Shane Burg goes by unanimous decision back in June of twenty twenty. Danny Gay, on the other side, fight foot seven, thirty years old, so a six years his seat, her younger Jimmy, with the record of fifteen and four, three and two in his last five fights. That's right, he is six years his junior. Coming off of a loss, though, off of a chance sunk June, by unanimous decision back in June. Guys, what do you got to say about this one? Let me let me say this. Josh Emmett, team Alpha Male, hasn't fought since June of two thousand and twenty. Let me say this. Danny Gay has fought three times since Josh Emmett's last fight, one of them being lost, but the other two are victories. Who Do you guys got in this one? I'm going purely off tattoos on this one. My not just kidding now. I think Dan's definitely got it, being the fact that he's, you know, like you said, he's been fighting Josh Emmett. Yeah, you know, good striker. You know going to it's going to be a battle in there no matter what, but you know he's been out of the game for a while, you know, Um, you know. So it's going to be a while. So I really think that Dan and it it Dan Egy is going to is going to secure the win. I'm going with him for I'm going to say, third round decision for this guy. All right, all right, man, what you say? Yeah, with that, I don't know. Man. Danny Gay, yeah, he's been active. He's good fighter. He put some some good shows. But you know, like you said, man, look, he's had some fights recently and some of the more some wars, Korean Zombie, I mean like to just to fucking those fights that he's been in. You know, the fight against Calvin a Kata, you know that. Those fights just, you know, at some Barboza like he they went all out. So he's got some miles, you know I'm saying. I guess I thought against top people, though. Yeah, no, I'm not saying that he has it like. I'm just saying like the damage at he's taken, you know what I mean? Like and I just I think Josh Emmett is going to take this one. I'm seeing a knockout round too. Dang, what about you? Cuz, with that being said, I feel both of these guys are going to come out banging. I don't know if either one of these guys can take the other guy out, because I don't know if you guys are familiar with either two of these guys, but they both throw heavy ass hands. Man, they do will take it too much damage, though. That's the one thing. I do think that Danny Gay does take a little bit more damage than Josh Emmett has in the past. But you can never count either one of these guys out. These guys just might cancel each other out. I Have Danny Gay winning by split decision. You know it's going to be a tough fight, but I do see...

I do think that Dan being more active within the last year, being younger, playing the same game, but just being younger again, I think that's just going to be enough to give him the w hey just going to add this. So Josh Emmett is a favorite. Plus two hundred over Danny gets, sorry, negative two hundred over. Danny gets plus one hundred and seventy, and that's because of the Tattoo. Just saying say yeah, that was it's Tattoo gives him that he's got those lucky terms on it on his chest. I don't know, man Bob. My book he's Got Josh Emmett as a one hundred and sixty five, a little bit lower, and Danny gave a plus one hundred and thirty five, so a little closer than what what they probably your site said. But still I still think Danny Gates going to take it out, be able to play out just because he's younger. Yeah, their third round decision for sure. Yeah, all right, I feel like money. If you don't like money, but better bet with a frank and and and. If you don't like her more, if you don't know anything about fights, be with Fonso. All right, let's jump into the main card. Here, the last pay per view of two thousand and twenty one, the year after covid. Here we are, got a new covid coming down our throats. Fuck you whatever, let's just keep watching these fights. All Right, first card on the main card here we have Rowley and Piva taking on Sean o'malley Batten. Wait fight. Sean o'malley coming in with a record of fourteen and one. He is four in one in his last five fights. He has got what was his last win? Was it a third round Tko over that kid, Chris Moy Moy Tino memory just beat the shit out of that Oh yeah, I will now I was a second replacing it, but still I kind of felt like he should have taken that kid out in the first round. But you do. That just goes to show you how kid, how kid, how tough Chris Mortino was. You know, who knows what he's going to do. He might go on to do great things, but Sean wasn't able to take him out. Rowley and PIVA, team Alpha male product, bree into in his last five fights with an overall record of twenty one and three, coming in with the win over Kyler Phillips back in July. Of Two thousand and twenty one side. No here. Kyler Phillips is from the same team as Sean o'malley. So rallyon's got a victory over that team already. But guess what that says about that team? but he does fight out of team MMA lab over in Arizona. I mean they got tape on this guy. So you're given tape fight footage to Sean o'malley and he's already Sean O' Malton. That's not good. Looking at Rawdon's record. He's more of a grappler. He does. He's got a little bit of wins by tea, by stand up. He's got a lot more wins by submission. You know what Sean male is going to do, man, he's got them hands. No matter what you want to say about him, hate him or Lovin, he does come to fight. He's got a chip on his shoulder. I think Sean male is going to finish this guy in the second round. Tko, because what you think? Yeah, man, as much as, like you said, as much as I hate this guy because of all his instagram garbage bullshit and just his attitude, yeah, I still got him as winning man. I but I think he's going to finish this operight in the first round. I don't even think it's going to make it to the second round. Think Sean O Malley's going to have his number and yeah, he's gonna he's gonna lay it on him. As much...

...as I wish Pabo would what I how you say his name, I va Fabia Phiva Piva. As much as I would love to see this guy, when I'm sorry, man, Sean o'malley just has he just too good. You know, he's too good. So, yeah, I haven't first round knock out. I don't know about them. Right. Which word had? God Damn it, Mounze, will you start like going with me now? Hey, hey, hey, look the way I see it, I the last five Sean O Maalley was in bothered me. That kid. I mean man, that kid at hard. I mean I I'm more of a fan of his, you know I'm saying, just just just because he was able to take that ass whoop and not go down. He just kept on getting up. But Sean o'malley, man, I don't know, like it made him look good. I just don't think that kid was that good. You know I'm saying. I think Sean O Miley's been overhyped and I just think that, you know, Piev has got more experience. He should be able to understand whether the storm. You know, he can, he can. I think he's gonna out last him. He's gonna Outsmart o'malley. He's not going to standish been trade because he doesn't have to. You know, he'll just end up, you know, at work in them. So my my my take is at by was gonna get the decision who and o'malley right now is a heavy favorite. Negative three hundred. Well me up once I was got you with you. One is that? Yeah, my book he's Got Sean on mally and a three hundred favorite, Rowley and Piva as a plus two hundred and forty underdog. I do got agree with you, Fonzo. One thing that Rowley and does have going for him is experience. He's got a wealth of experience. However, I was looking over his record and I don't see anybody on here on there that he fought that has the same level of stand up or it's going to bring that type of heat that he's gonna face when he goes up against Sean. I'm with cousin at. I would love to see Sean o'mellley go down here. I just I just don't think so. All Right, I'm with you, Fonzo. I we could. We could see an upset. That would be fantastic and I might even play a little parley, dipping my toes in the rally and Pivo waters. I don't know, I don't know. We'll see. That's a good I'll tell you what, though, that is a good way to start the pay per view off. No, yeah, yeah, yes, Oh, yeah, yeah, either way we're gonna see a good fight, oh for sure, for sure. Or let's get into the next fight. Next fight is another is a flyweight bow content being contested by Kaykarra France versus cody garbrand, because don't you let us know what's going on in this one? All right, so Kai Kar France is twenty two and nine, one non contested, cody garbrand twelve and four. Their last win a Kai Kara. His last win, last fight was about one one was a win. Cody garbrand. His last fight was a lost. Obviously, KAI Karas five for cody car brands five me. So you have that for you have that four inch difference there. But also Kaika does have a longer reach, with sixty nine inches versus cody garbrand at sixty five and a half inches. As far as I kick lenking, everything they're looking at pretty much the same. Now. These guys are both strikers and so they're going to be coming coming to bing. That's what you got. What you think funds of I all right. For this...

...one. My pick is courty guard brand. I just think, you know, he definitely's got a lot to prove. He's actually just, you know what I mean, like he just got he just what beat, came off of a loss, so to rob font. So he's he's been looking on right man like. He's been looking all right. He's been trying to build up. He's he's got some setbacks here and there, but I just think he's got it. I don't know if Kai Kara France, he doesn't impress me as much. So I got cody garbrand round to Kao. Damn. All right, all right, because did you tell us what your pick was going to be for that fight? No, no, and I'M gonna have to disagree without funds of this time. I do like cody garbrand, big fan of his. Would like to see him and win and continue on and stuff, maybe one day holding that belt. But I just don't see it. I think, Kid Kaya Kara friends, I think that this kid it's like, like his name said, don't blink, because I think that's what's going to happen. Cody garbrand. He he once, he once he falls into someone else's game and he gets into that pressure, that mode. It's it doesn't doesn't work out for him. Man. And, like I said, I do like cody garbrand, I do. I would love to see him when big fan of his, but I think in Kai Kara can get him to play his game, that reaches going to be able to just pick him apart and we all know that cody garbrandt he as much as I respect this man, you know that Chin. Once they connect with that chin, he just goes down. So I'm going with Kai Kara. I'm going with the third round knock out. All right, all right, I'm with funds on this. This is cody garbrand's first dive into the flyweight class. That had a hundred and twenty five pounds. I don't know if you guys have seen pictures of him, but he looks very, very skeletorious. He is sucked up. I don't know how much this way cut is going to take out of him or out of his power. However, I do think that he can handle the cut. I do think that he's professional enough to made to be able to do this and not suffer TJ dillashaw style endings. I think this fight has handpicked for cody to win. I do like Kay car friends but I also feel he's heavily, heavily overrated. I feel like he just gets pumped up because he comes from that CD kickboxing team with Audi Sonia and Volcanofski and all those other cats. and He's good, don't get me wrong, but he hasn't faced the caliber of fighters at Cody Garbran. Has Cody lasted five rounds with Rob Font or three rounds with him? And I just think cody's too tough man. I got I got cody winning this by decision. I don't think he's gonna have enough to take out Kaikra by submission or knock out or anything like that, but I do think that he has enough in the gas tank, enough experience and enough power to pull this w out for sure. So Cody garbrand decision. But do you think? You think that the past knockouts, the cody garb right, that's going to play a role in that. You know, because I'm the once you get knocked out, it was not like, you know, it's not like he's like, it's not like he's chuckling al or someone like that, and he's just been getting smoked every time he stepped into the cage. I mean he went all three rounds with with rob you know, before that he went five rounds with Rafael Arc action. I'm sorry, not five rounds, but two rounds with Rafael Suns Out, you know. So he the one thing that it's benefit him is he's taking a lot of time off. So if he did have some cobwebs up in the UP, in the up in his head, he's had enough time off to clear the COBWEBS, reset and get back in...

...there. So I don't think that that's going to play too much of a factor into into that fight. Well, I hope he does win. I hope you guys are right. I hope cody does win. Man, I really like to see him continue on, for sure. For sure, let's get into the middle of this pay per view here and we got a welcherweight bout with a jeoff, joff, don't call me, Jeff Neil, versus Santiago, ponds and Nibio. I don't know if you guys know this, but Jeff Neil just got busted for a dwy and having like a loaded weapon in the car. That is very good. Two weeks out from your fire, all I thought was, dude, what the fuck are you doing when you got an hour John Jones, partying in the middle of the week like that act with the loaded weapon? You're just whilin now, Dude. What kind of discipline, what kind of what kind of fight plan? What kind of coaches does he have around him at this time exactly? This is gonna be her a make or break fight for him. Let me see what I got here. Ponds of Nibio, Draft Neil, Jeff Neil, coming in with the record of thirteen four. He's only three and two in his last five fights, coming off of backtoback losses, one to Neil Magne, another one to Stephen warned, the boy Thompson, both by unanimous decision. Meanwhile, Santiago Ponds, a Nibio, coming in with the record of twenty and four, coming in hot with the record of foreign one in his last five fights, a unanimous decision win over Miguel by Aza. Prior to that, though, he did get knocked the fuck out by Lee Jeng lank in the first round and early January, however, prior to having his ass whooped and being knocked out cold like that, he was on a major Hush Street and people were talking about him as a contender in this weight class. That being said, man, I just I don't see how that dwy the gun charged, things going to go good for Jeff. I do feel that fighting he's going to be away for him to be distracted and not worry about have to deal with that, but in the back of his mind he is going to have to deal with that. So how much of a factor is that going to be? I mean, he needed to have all his eggs in this basket so that he could focus on ponds Anibio, and now he's going to have to diverse some of his attention, some of his focus. That did not help him that that whatever happened to him last week, whether he did or he didn't, I just say that's enough to put Pinson Avia over the top. You can't be playing around with this guy. This guy's got hands, this guy's a little a little bit older. He knows that he doesn't have time on his side. So he needs to make a run for this title right here, right now, and I feel that he's going to use Jeff Neal to catapult himself into the top five of Miss Weight class and make a statement and put the weight class on known I'm going ponds of Nebuo unanim his decision, but I just feel like he's gonna tool him all three rounds. What do you guys think? Yeah, I'm with you, because I'm definitely with you. I think. I think the not only that instantly going to also be playing it in the shuge and Neil's mine, but I just think that's worried. I think he's mine. Is already there. He's already making these bad decisions and that just showing like where his trainings at, where his mentality is. That so through that man. Agree. Yeah, I don't. Not only is he going to have it on his mind of what's could to come, but I think he's already there. I think he's already there as far as what's going on and where he's going with it with this fight. I think he's been on that way and it's maybe like an excuse. So yeah, I got you. I got same thing with you. You know, Miss Decision and Santiago for a unitimous decision with this fight. All right, to say, Fonzo, all right, this Tamn, I'm with you. All Right, I'm with you. Yes, yes, all...

...right, Ponson, Nebo, I just I just feel like he's, like you agree with both of you guys. He's a lot more focused. Not only that, but I just think he's had some, you know, some tough fights before he's able to take out a lot of pretty good, some of the good, some of the better contenders out there. Fonso, well, I think you say about this fight. Vegas says I got Ponson Ni or pretty even actually Ponson neviews. And actually he's a he's a slight underdog at a negative one hundred and fifty and neils a positive. Sorry, no, he's a favorite, negative one hundred and fifty, neils positive one and thirty. So he's I agree. I'm I'm going with second round. Koh. I think he's got a power. Sound k all right, yeah, he I heat. That could totally happen. Totally totally happen. All right, you guys ready to get into the comen and main attle harder? What? Yeah, and I was looking over this card and I just stumbled up. I mean, I didn't stumble across, but I knew what the Kman event was going to be. But, guys, I'm fucking I am really excited for this. Amanda, new years, Juliana being a fight. I mean, surprise, surprise. I don't think Julian opinion is going to win, but I still think that she's not going to lay down for this fight and she's gonna Bring it. Amanda UNY has coming in with the record of twenty one and four. She is five and old in her last five fights, coming off of a reverse triangle arm bar submission over me and Anderson. You guys remember that Shit when me and had yeah, Oh fuck, whether I get myself into look right before shot, shining for a last second take down. If popped in the forehead. Before that she's got a double over Felicia Spencer, unanimous decision. Juliana Banya coming in with the record of ten and fours. That's done a very good record. She's only three and two in her last five fights. She is coming off victory over Sarah McMahon rear naked choke in round three. Before that, though, lost to Germaine Durandery by Guillotine in the third round. That was back in October of two thousand and twenty. I did skim through her record and I found that she also lost to Valentine if shout Chenko by Armbar back in two thousand and seventeen, and one of the wins that they always bring up, the UFC loves to bring up for Julian and Panya, is that she does have a win over the last person, that be Amanda Nun Ye's, which was you guys remember? Oh Shit, is it Singno, yeah, cats and Gonald back in two thousand and six teen. That's five years ago. You don't mean so? Yeah, that's good, but they're both completely different fighters now, completely different fighters. So she's going to hang her hat on that victory. She need a time machine because I see nothing but pain coming her way. I don't know that Amanda is going to be able to finish her because you have Benya is a tough girl, man, she's fucking tough. I've read a story where she got into a fight with the bouncer at a bar not too long ago and he was a dude and the dude ended up calling the cops. So yeah, to show you, just cuts, to show you, dude, she's tough, man. She no doubt she's tough, but I don't think that she has, she's going to have anything in her tool belt that's going to give Amanda new years any problems. I see unanimous decision for Amanda Nun years. Definitely. What do you guys say? Yeah, no, I'm I was gonna let I was leaving it up to you to go in on that. But yeah, Cuz I'm really, really divided on this one, man. I really want to see being your win this. Not only does she look good doing it, but I think you're right, man,...

Amanda New Year's she just Nash. She's just a beast, man, I she's like the Cyborg back in the day before she whooped cyborgs ass. Like I would love to see beenior win when this. I would love to see the upset. And you know what I'm you know what I'm gonna go. I'M gonna go split decision to Penya, just to throw it, throw it in there, just just to throw that last bit. But I see a man, you Knua is just another win on her, on her record with this one, but I think I'm going to put my decision. I'm going to go with it is split decision for Penia. Damn, damn some well, I hope. I hope you're right, man. I hope you're right. At I don't think so, but I hope you're right. Yeah, let me look at the odds here real quick. Oh, I already got them. I got him right here. Check it out. Yea, is it man? So new nunias is a heavy, heavy, heavy, heavy favorite, obviously at negative eight hundred and thirty three. Damn. Yeah, Yep. Ben Y, on the other hand, is a positive five hundred. So if you're right, man, that's five hundred bucks. Hey. So if you got the balls, you got the Hornets to been on Julian Opinion, my book, He will give you an extra thirty five bucks because they got her as a plus five, thirty five underdog. They got the over under at around and a half. So Vegas does not think this is going to go over to round. Ya, Hey, but you know what, there's been some upsets that we haven't like. Member, all the rot. Anything can happen. Ain't happy happen, you know, hey, can happen. Well, check it out. I was looking out historical, historical odds. I for like the rousy versus. What was that? Holly Light? Yeah, so you fight, it was nine to one pay out for if you bet with Holly Home, Ninety one. So you bet a hundred bucks. That's nine hundreds in your pocket. Dude, Ye, so too. Good ass days in Tijuana, for sure, maybe even three. You on how you spending, man. So that that's for sure, dude, no doubt. That's that's going to be a great fight. If she does pull off the upset, you're gonna be the first person I call my man. All right, man like, look, here's, here's what I'm going to do. All Right, my my brain is definitely saying down as new, yeus is definitely just going to go out there and do what she does best and just tear through Juliannapnya, fortunately. But I'm going to say she's gonna fuck up and she's gonna throw an illegal blow and she's gonna lose a fight. That way. I got I got Benya, I got beny, I went in this fight. That, that way's full. This will Cretty, because you got slip on a Bangana and Mina Alave NEL Magdie. That's what she's gonna she's gonna be walking up to the state way to doing it. Wasn't Neal Magnus, it was going to trip on a microphone cord, but she'll be unglasses like twenty Birdson. She Ain't gonna see it and she's been out six months, caught in the fence at the same time. That's what's going to happen. Just Watch, man, the show, my parley. All right, last fight on the car. Oh Man, this is the fight nobody thought was coming, but it's the fight we all deserve. I'm talking Charles Olivera Dusn't pourier for the one hundred and fifty five unification...

...bout, winner take all, no interim. You win this fight, you are the bar none, hands down best in the one hundred and fifty five pound weight class in the UFC. Charles Olivera coming in with the record of what's his record? Cuz Twenty thirty one and eighty one and eighth, two thousand and eighty six. That's import are including five and no in they're both, or actually, I'm sorry, Oliver's five and own his last five, and pourier's coming in with a record of form, Winn in his last five, with one of those losses coming to, of course, Kabib Nurgama met off, and two of his four winds are coming off of by, you know, at the expense of art, your of your boy connor. I'm torn, man. I don't have I've I don't have a pick in this fight yet. I want to listen to what you guys got to say, but let me give you a little bit more background here. Oliver's last two fights Tko over Michael Chandler. I think that was in round two, I believe you know. Then the unanimous decision victory over our boy Tony Ferguson. He ended that what was like a nineteen fight win streak for Tony. Yeah, but Tony Down Man. Tony's had a lot of miles on him, a lot of wear and tear. My it was just time for his streak to end, you know. But Damn Dude, Olivera did what you're supposed to do. He made Tony Ferguson looked like he was two steps behind. You remember how he turned his arm into Spaghetti. That was, yeah, awful. I feel, yeah, so bad. I could not believe that he did not tap out to that. Right. Would you talking this man? I was, I'm seriously, I was yelling at the red if I was ref in that fight, I probably would have stopped up that fight just because his arm was going to turn into freaking splinters. You know what I'm saying? M Yeah, Cuz what do you got to say about this siding? Who Do you have winning? Man? You know what want. Yeah, you're really are man. So I'm going with Dustin Portan. I'm going with the diamond just because I'll very yeah, he he dominated everything and what he did to my boy Tony Erguson, but doesn't purty. I think that he just wants it just a little bit more. I mean they got pretty similar history. I know he has he's for one, forty ash for one, but I think the him he just wants a little bit more. That there's a that is all there. He's had it for a while, you know. He's kind of settled into that, into that zone. Fortier has the tools that he needs. He is a heavy hitter. So I definitely got Dustin Porty and winning by decision. All right, funds of what you say. Actually, Fundo hit us with him on. All right, odds here are plus one hundred and forty four Oli Verez, so he he's another dog man, not not a big under dog, but he's still not. Pour Yer is a negative one hundred and seventy. So thank you, Vegas. Yeah, all I gotta say going against the odds and I'm going to Charlie Olives. Charlie Olives man, I think he's gonna Get a vision. I think he's going to finish him. I don't think it's going to finish him. I think it's going to go all five rounds. He's going to end up getting getting the decision, but it's going to be a good fight, man. I just think Oliver's going to edge him out. He's going to end up, you know, winning three out of the two round split decision most likely. So, yeah, I see it. I see a fucking war, though I like what Destin's polly has been doing. I like, you know, his strategy has been using connor. His last two fights with Connor, man, they were they were man. I give mean,...

I don't they I don't think honnors died great of a fighter anymore. Like he just lost his edge and, you know, even though they were impressive wins, it was against the fighter that just, you know, hasn't really had the heart to fight in a while. It doesn't seem like, yeah, they figured him out. Yeah, not to say that dustn't Poye is not a great fighter, but I just think Charlie's going to end up, you know, winning the Standa Bar. Now I think. I think Olivera the only way he's going to beat Dustin Porty is if he if he can take most of the rounds to the ground. If you could take most of the rounds to the ground, I think he'll get in with, like, you know, the submissions. I don't think he's going to submit him, you know, but I but if dustn't porty can keep it standing out, which I think Olivera is going to want to stand with him, I don't see him just going straight to the ground, I think, and I think that's what Dustin poorty is going to just pick him off all five rounds. Yeah, I think you're right too, Cuz I mean just going over there to records, you know, Dustin's fought the best of the best and that's not seeing. Olivera has him because he's also fun tough competition. But I just feel that Dustin's been through the grind since he was a youngster. And you know what, if you go back, all of there has been in the UFC for all long ass time, going all the way back to two thousand ten dude postion the UF sea. Since let me see here, they both been in the UFC since two thousand and ten. Actually, I'm sorry, Dustin jumped in in two thousand and eleven. So Charles Oliver's got a little bit on him. They're about this. They are actually both the same age, they are the same height. Gosh, man, after here in Alfonso, I had just had to go with Dustin poor ye because I always pick the opposite of Alfonso, but I just think that dust impoury a man is just anything that Oliver can I mean, the only way that I see olive area winning this is if he can get it on the ground, like you said, and get us up. But when you look at Dustin's record, nobody's been able to do that other than could be Kabap sub t him. Before that he's got a loss to Michael Johnson by Koh, a loss to connor McGregor by Tko, a decision loss of Cups Swanson, sub bye to chance Sung Jung and then a lost by decision, and that's way back when. So he really hasn't fought a submission grappler other than K beep. And I mean you know what was going to happen there? Yeah, because I just don't you can count down yeah, just another level, man, and I don't know if all ever's going to be able to get it to the ground. You know, I think that doesn't is going to be smart enough to stay away from that, because if he is going to lose, that's how he's going to lose. He did to get sub when they're on the ground and something crazy, because once oliver snaps a submission on, it's very, very hard to get out. You know, not too many people are going to be able to get out. And if he gets you, if he gets an arm early on, that arms not going to be the same in rounds three, rounds for rounds five, and that is going to have a significant impact on the fight. Is this going to be a five round war? I'm going Dustin pour ya UN and his decision. Guys. Yep, all right, that's a wrap there. It is fight. Anything else you guys want to add? Man, anything you want to say? Yeah, man, I running of you fighters are listening right now. I'll Fonto if you need to.
